Victor Osimhen on Sunday scored Galatasare to help claim his 25th Turkish League title, including Jose Morinho’s Fanarbhe in the runner-up spot for the fourth straight season. Turkish’s most successful club moved Kayserispor 3–0 to one side, in which Osimen opened the scoring to clarify eight points of Fanarbahe with two round games in Turkish Super Lig Sesha. Galatasarai goalkeeper Fernando Musslera fined late to wrap the victory. Since the third game of the season, Galatasare qualified for the Champions League League phase.

He was assisted in his push for the title by 25 goals made by Osimhene since arrival on loans from Napoli last September.

Meanwhile, losing on a silver pot may depart from Fanarbah, a year before the end of his contract of Morinho, local media suggested.

Morinho’s team was crowned the champion for the last time 11 years ago, and this season this season failed to win any of the four Istanbul Derby against Galatasarai and Basiktas this season.

Morinho got pressure. Last month, he caught the face of his coach Okan Buruk after losing to Gratasare in the Turkish Cup quarter -finals.
