Vivek Vikram Singh, CEO of Sona COMSTER Vivek Vikram Singh took his late friend, industrialist Sujay Kapoor to share an emotional tribute in the social media platform X, who died on June 12 after a heart attack during a polo match. Kapoor’s funeral was held in Delhi on 19 June.

In his heartfelt post, Singh wrote:
“Yesterday, I had a heart to shoulder my best friend on my last trip – a person who was always compared to my achievements. If everyone had such a friend, the world would be a kind, better place. You can rest in peace, Sujay.”
Singh’s message was the answer to a post that Kapoor shared in November 2024, in which he publicly praised Singh’s leadership. At that time, Kapoor wrote:
“You are proud of you, wisdom! It was great to be there to share this moment with you. A well -worthy belief for your leadership in gold comstar. Congratulations, once again, and more power for you!”
Who was Suny Kapoor?
Sunayjay Kapoor was not only the chairman of Sona Commentar Limited, but was also a respected person in the Indian motor vehicle industry. He served several important positions, including the co-chairman of the Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region, CII’s Manufacturing Council and the former Chairman of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA).
Educated in India, United Kingdom and the United States, camphor was a lifetime learner, with deep commitment to personal and business development. He was also the first Indian to be appointed as the global president of the entrepreneurs’ organization.
Beyond his corporate achievements, camphor was known for his dedication to his love for fitness, his passion to learn, and his dedication to polo beyond traditional circles – he was playing a lot of game when he died.
