Nottingham Forest Forward Taivo Avonia is out of an inspired coma after an immediate surgery after a stomach injury during the match against Lester City on Sunday. The 27-year-old was injured when he collided with a goal post in a 2–2 draw against Leester in the Premier League on Sunday and was rushed to the hospital on Monday after further investigation by the forest medical team. After the first part of the surgery on Monday, it was spent further on Tuesday in an induced coma as the medical staff monitored their progress as part of the process. Awoniyi had the second stage of operation, including closing the wound on Wednesday, on Wednesday, BBC reports.
