Neeraj Chopra and Pakistan’s Arshad Madame are two of the world’s most bright spears. Both are Olympic gold medalists and their duality was widely followed worldwide at the Paris Olympics. On the eve of the Diamond League in Doha, the two -time Olympic medalist, and the world champion, demanded a direct record with Arshad to set a record records about his equation, who won a gold medal in Paris Games last year when Indians ended on top of the podium in the Tokyo version in 2021.
Neeraj approved the air on his relationship after the recent border tension between India and Pakistan after the recent border tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April.
Ahead of Doha League on Friday, a reporter Asked Neeraj: “Both of you (he and Arshad) are close friends on the field and outside, you have shown that athletes can bring the world together. Will you recently affect your relationship?”

“Because of this (recent border tension between India and Pakistan) I do not think so, it will not happen as before. If someone gives respect, I will give it the same.”

Chopra then clarified that the invitation for the NC Classic was sent out a day before the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people, most of the tourists, were killed by terrorists with a link to Pakistan.
At a place where they will support the crowd for overseas Indians, Chopra will face two-time world champions and 2024 Olympic-conjugor Anderson Anderson Peters of Grenada, Chechia’s Zakub Vadellage, who won here in 2024, German pair of Julian Weber and Max Dennis, Kanas Julius and Rodin.
Almost all of them have been in major competitions for some time to Chopra’s rivals. A notable absent 2024 Paris Olympic Gold winner is Arshad Madem’s Pakistan.
Chopra’s compatriot Kishore Jenna, who won a javelin silver medal in the Asian Games, but struggling late, will also be one of the 11 contestants.
Jena (Personal Best: 87.54 m) competed here in 2024, as well as a 76.31 m throw.
Wadesch won here with the best throw of 88.38 meters, while Chopra was 2 cm behind with 88.36 meters. Peters were third with 86.62 meters.
Chopra, who won gold at the Tokyo Olympics and then competed in the 2024 Paris Games, first in 2018 in Doha DL when he finished fourth with a best throw of 87.43 meters.
