In the first deal, Openai has revealed the plan to build a large -scale computing complex in the United Arab Emirates, which is as part of the countries’ initiative for the company’s openiAI after a deal between Donald Trump administration and Gulf Country.

The news of UAE’s partnership with Opeai has created online conspiracy and confusion. Many outlets reported that, as part of the deal, all UAE residents will get free access to the premium version of the popular AI Tool, the chatup plus.
What do we know about the deal
According to an Openai statement, the new partnership includes a Stargate UAE cluster in Abu Dhabi, which is expected to be live in 2026 and invest the UAE in the US Stargate Infrastructure. The new feature will be a joint venture with Oracle, Nvidia, SoftBank, Cisco and G42, an Emiti Artificial Intelligence firm.
Openai also said that the UAE will use Openai equipment in energy, healthcare, education and transport sectors to help accelerate innovation and economic growth.
The statements said that the UAE will become the first country in the world, which will enable people across the country to reach Openai technology and enable Chatgpt across the country.
Will the chats be free in UAE?
No, while Openai announced nationwide access to its AI equipment, not said that every resident of UAE would be provided free individual membership. So far, the free version of the Chatgpt (GPT-3.5) is accessible in the United Arab Emirates, while the CHATGPT Plus is still a cost of $ 20/month.
The AI ββcompany said, “From next week, OpenIAI Chief Strategy Officer Jason Qawon will kick an openi for the roadsho of countries across the Asia Pacific, meet with governments and potential private sector partners, who will discuss the opportunities for the construction of the infrastructure and distribute the AI ββservices to the people in their communities.”
