Sanjeev Goenka donated gold jewelery worth Rs 3.63 crore to the Lord Venkateswara temple on Friday. He has donated 5.2 kg of diamonds and gems studded jewelery, which is priced at Rs 3.63 crore. He has also shared photos of darshan in the temple on his X handle.
Significantly, Lord Venkateswara Temple is located in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh and is also called Tirupati Balaji Temple. It is dedicated to Venkateswara, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in India. This temple is located on the hills of Tirumala in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
