

31 Naxalites hidden on the Kurguttalu mountain were killed
In the biggest operation so far against Naxalism, 31 notorious Naxalites have been killed on the Kurguttalu Pahar (KGH) of the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has given this information through a tweet. Naxalites used to train on this mountain
Home Minister Amit Shah wrote in his tweet that while achieving a historical success in the resolution of Naxal-free India, security forces have killed 31 infamous Naxalites hiding on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border Kurguttalu Pahar (KGH) in the biggest operation against Naxalism so far. The mountain on which the red terror was once ruled, today the tricolor is waving gracefully.
Naxalites were eliminated in 21 days
Further, the Home Minister wrote in the tweet that the Kurguttalu Pahar PLGA Battalion 1, DKSZC, TSC and CRC were the unified headquarters of big Naxal institutions like CRC, headquarters, where Naxal training as well as strategy and weapons was made. This biggest anti -Naxal campaign was completed by our security forces in just 21 days and I am very happy that there is not a single casualty in the security forces. I congratulate our CRPF, STF and DRG soldiers who face Naxalites with my bravery and valor even in bad weather and inaccessible mountainous region. The whole country is proud of you.
Will be eliminated by 31 March
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are determined to eradicate Naxalism. I assure the countrymen again that India is sure to be Naxal -free by 31 March 2026.
Campaign running since 2014
Here, Director General of Central Reserve Police Force GP Singh also said on Wednesday that the security forces are running “tireless and ruthless” campaigns to end Naxalism by 31 March 2026. GP Singh said that the anti -Naxal campaign started in 2014 has become faster and focused than 2019, in which the central paramilitary forces are working with the state police with the commitment to end Naxalism.
Now Naxalism in only 6 districts
He said that the number of Naxalite affected districts in 2014 was 35, which has come down to 6 in 2025, while the number of Naxalite affected districts in this period has come down from 126 to 18.
