The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may get a major setback to the hopes of getting the remaining matches of PSL season 10 in the United Arab Emirates. In fact, in view of the increasing tension on the border between India and Pakistan, the Emirates Cricket Board cannot approve Pakistan to get PSL in its country. Sources in the Emirates Cricket Board have indicated that the board may reject any such request of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB had already announced that the remaining matches of PSL will be in UAE. But in this case, they can now get a big shock.
UAE does not want to help Pakistan
It is believed that after looking at the deteriorating situation between India and Pakistan, the Emirates Cricket Board does not want to indicate that it should help PCB in any way. If the UAE asks PCB to host PSL, then it will indicate everyone that it is supporting Pakistan. The source said that the Emirates Cricket Board has had good relations with BCCI in recent years. It has hosted IPL in addition to India’s matches during the T20 World Cup 2021 and Champions Trophy 2025.
8 matches remain in 10th season of PSL
The PCB said in the morning of May 09 that the remaining eight matches of PSL which were to be held in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore will now be in UAE.
