The Norway government is searching for a crypto mining ban

The Norway government is considering a temporary ban on crypto mining in the country, which is “attempted to free power, network capacity and field for other purposes.”

In a Friday notice, Norwegian government Said This would be conducting an investigation in the autumn resulting in temporary restrictions at crypto mining data centers. Officials said they had the right to impose such restrictions under Norway’s Planning and Construction Act, including provisions to allocate energy.

“It is uncertain that Crypto mining in Norway in the future will become a big problem,” is written in the notice. “Registration required in the rules of the new data center will provide increased information about the scope of data centers which is my cryptocurrency.”
