XRPL announced a new batch upgrade to take rivals Etharium and Solana

The XRP laser (XRPL) is ready for a significant upgrade with an adjacent release of version 2.5.0 in June. Between increasing expectations, integrating key features including batch (XLS-56) beyond the blockchain upgrade. In particular, the XLS-56 amendment introduces batch transactions, enables users to create groups up to eight transactions, including support for atomic swaps. This feature also enables smart transaction dependence logic within bundled transactions, with possible applications that extend the XRPL project mudification and NFT Peer-to-Pier Trading.

More facilities to unlock

In the previous X post, the senior executive had so far indicated on a series of features. Vadari mainly outlined the primary categories of testing and development networks for XRP laser. These include Testnet and Devnet. The testnet reflects the mennet with active amendments. Devnet activated the amendments prepared which are pending or voting. This difference allows for complete testing and refinement of new features before reaching the mennet.

While the first XRPL feature is live, other features are expected to be released soon. Other features include account permission delegation, multipurpose tokens (MPT), credentials, allowed domains and dynamic NFTs. Currently Smart Escrow is being tested at WASM Devnet.
