Kabul: In Afghanistan on Friday morning, there were strong earthquake tremors, whose intensity was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. Due to shocks, there was chaos in some areas and they came out of their homes.
The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded near Baghlan province located in the northern part of the country. According to the Afghan Geological Department and the US Geological Survey (USGS), the depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers, which is considered shallow earthquake and which can make the intensity of shocks more.
Shocks felt in many areas including Kabul
Earthquake tremors were felt in many northern and eastern provinces including the capital Kabul, Panjshir, Kunduj and Takhar. According to local residents, the shocks continued for a few seconds and the walls of the houses, windows and doors were seen moving.

According to the information received so far, there has been no serious damage to any kind of life and property due to this earthquake. However, there have been reports of minor cracks in some old houses.
