Sulfas shot to woman for asking for toothache pill

Jhabua: A shocking case has come to light from Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. Here a woman went to the medical store and asked for a toothache pill, but the shopkeeper gave her a bullet of sulfas. The woman ate her as a toothache medicine and died. After this case came to light, there was a stir and an attempt is being made to arrest the person selling medicine at the medical store.

Superintendent of Police’s statement revealed

Jhabua Superintendent of Police Padam Wilochan Shukla said, “The police arrested the shop owner under Section 105 (non -permissible homicide) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). He said that Rekha, a resident of Dharampuri village, about three kilometers from the district headquarters, went to a medical store near Thandla Gate on Thursday evening and sought medicine for relief from toothache. The seller of the shop gave him a bullet of sulfas, which he ate at home the same night and his health deteriorated. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

The Superintendent of Police said, “The family informed the police on Friday and the body was sent for post -mortem. The initial post -mortem report confirmed the death due to sulfas, after which the case was registered and the shop owner Lokendra Babel (52) was arrested.

The Superintendent of Police said, “Investigations are being conducted to find out why sulfas pills were kept in the shop. The shop was sealed and the Drug Controller Department is also investigating. Efforts are on to arrest the woman who shot the woman. After the matter came to light, the people of the area are surprised and are saying that they have not seen such negligence anywhere. (input language)
