

People going amid fierce in Prayagraj
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is having scorching heat these days. Banda district was the hottest in the country, where the day temperature was recorded at 46.2 degrees Celsius on Friday. The Meteorological Department has estimated the status of heat stroke in the state till Sunday. Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that Banda district recorded a temperature of 46.2 degrees Celsius on Friday, which was the maximum temperature of the day in the entire country. Atul Kumar Singh said that more than a dozen districts of UP, especially in eastern UP, are troubled by the scorching heat. In many parts of the state, the mercury has crossed 40 degrees Celsius.
Jhansi recorded the highest temperature after Banda
The Meteorological Department said that the day temperature in Jhansi at 2:30 pm was recorded at 45 degrees Celsius. This was followed by 44 degrees in Fursatganj and Varanasi, 43.8 degrees in Sultanpur and 42.8 degrees in Agra. Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 40.1 degrees Celsius.
Lu warning in these districts
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Kannauj, Kanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur on Saturday. The state government has instructed the concerned district administration to take necessary precautions and to implement measures to protect the residents from heatstroke. The Health Department has also been instructed to be ready for cases of diseases related to potential heat.
Night temperature also increased
The night temperature also exceeded normal in most places, in many districts between 25–30 degrees Celsius. The night temperature in the state capital Lucknow was recorded at 26. 8 degrees Celsius. According to IMD forecast, dry weather is likely to continue on Saturday, especially in western Uttar Pradesh.
It may rain here
According to the Meteorological Department, Eastern Uttar Pradesh is expected to receive rain at different places during the next 24 hours. Till 21 May, rainy season may continue in many districts of eastern UP. People are expected to get relief from the heat due to rain.
