

Female soldier commits suicide.
Bihar A surprising news has come out from Jehanabad. A female soldier posted here committed suicide by hanging himself in his own barrack. The incident has caused a stir in the entire police department. The case is of Mandal Kara located in Kako police station area. However, the reasons behind this incident have not been revealed. The deceased woman soldier has been identified as Shivani Kumari, a 27 -year -old daughter of Upendra Prasad Gupta, resident of Barauni village under Manihari police station in Katihar district.
It is said that the deceased was posted as a roommate in Mandal Kara for the past one year. On receiving the information of the incident, several officials including DM Alankrita Pandey, SP Arvind Pratap Singh, SDPO Sanjeev Kumar reached the spot and took stock. In this regard, a constable posted in the jail said that she was posted as a roommate in the jail for the last eight-nine months. She went to her barrack by doing her duty till 12 noon on Wednesday afternoon where she committed suicide by hanging himself.
The forensic team, who arrived on the information of the incident, has also inspected the spot and collected evidence. The information of the incident has been given to the family members. The female soldier’s colleagues are also shocked by this incident. However, the reasons for suicide are yet to be clearly known. At present, the police is investigating the entire case. Prima facie is said to be the cause of this incident as a domestic dispute. Police officials say that the cause of the incident will be known only after the arrival of family members.
Initial investigation has revealed that the marriage of the deceased was broken and the family wanted to get married elsewhere. While the girl wanted to marry the same boy. The police is investigating some other facts in this case. It will be known only after investigation that for which reason the woman soldier has taken this dreadful step.
Here in this case, Ghosi MLA Rambali Yadav made serious allegations against the police administration and said that the bureaucracy was responsible for the continuous incident in the police department. He has raised questions on the mental and physical health systems of the soldiers. He has demanded a high -level inquiry and at the same time there is a dire need to strengthen counseling, health check -ups and collaborative mechanisms at the departmental level to prevent such cases.
Significantly, this is the third incident in Jehanabad district within a month, when the people of the police department are committing suicide. The first incident was committed by hanging suicide by hanging himself in the quarter of the police station on 21 April last in the Vanavar tourist police station area. The second incident came to light four days ago on May 11 when soldier Binod Chaudhary committed suicide by shooting an INSAS rifle in his barrack in the Jehanabad police line. Today this third incident took place in Mandal Kara.
Police department officials are also surprised by the third incident that happened within a month. Now the question is arising as to why and how three such incidents are happening in the last one month in the district. After all, what is the reason behind this?
