‘X’ account of ‘TRT World’ also banned in India

India strongly criticized Chinese media outlet
India had strongly criticized the Chinese media outlet, and asked him to verify the facts and investigate the sources before spreading wrong information. The response came after the Global Times published a report, claiming that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has “killed another Indian fighter aircraft” in response to Indian aerial attacks overnight at several bases in Pakistan, cited “unknown sources of the Pakistani Army”.
Reacting to this, several posts on X from the official handle of the Indian Embassy in Beijing said, “Dear @globaltimesnews, we would advise you to verify your facts before pushing such wrong information and check your sources.”
Another post wrote, “Many pro -Pakistan handle operations are spreading baseless claims in the context of Operation Sindoor, which are trying to mislead the public. When media outlets share such information without confirmation of sources, it reflects the responsibility and serious omission in the morality of journalism.”
Earlier, India strongly rejected China’s move to change the names of some places in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday and described this effort as “absurd” and insisted that such action could not change this “undisputed” fact that this state was an integral part of India, and will always be.
This reaction of New Delhi came after Beijing released a list of Chinese names for many places in Arunachal Pradesh. The region claims to be part of the southern Tibet.
