Bulldozer action on illegal madrasas in Shravasti.
In Shravasti district of UP, there has been a stir on the continuous action on madrasas being operated illegally. Bulldozers of administrative officials have been thundering on illegal madrasas. So far, about 107 illegal madrasas have been sealed in the district. In 107 illegal madrasas sealed, 2 Mazars and 1 Idgah, including 16 madrasas built on government land, were grounded by the action of bulldozers.
Illegal madrasa operators chaos
The district has 192 unaccredited and 105 recognized madrasas in the district. Action has been underway on illegal madrasas in the district for about 15 days. According to officials, all these madrasas were being operated by ignoring the rules. Strict action by the administration caused panic among the illegal madrasa operators in the district. The administration has made it clear that illegal construction will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Such action will continue further.

Most madrasas were being secretly operated
Earlier, District Minority Welfare Officer Devendra Ram had informed that “there are a total of 297 madrasas in Shravasti, of which 192 are non -recognized.” Two weeks ago, 10 madrasas were closed in Indian territory in 15 km radius of Nepal border. Many types of irregularities have been found in them. He said that most of these madrasas were being secretly operated, some were being illegally operated in rented houses or houses and some semi -manufactured buildings.
