

Neeraj Chopra
Neeraj Chopra is counted among the finest players in India and is the first javelin player to win two medals in the Olympics for India. He won the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and the Silver Medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. Now his eyes will be on performing well in the Diamond League tournament. He will take part in the Doha stage of this prestigious tournament on 16 May. Apart from him, Kishore Jena would also like to do well in the Diamond League tournament.
Neeraj Chopra has won the title once
Neeraj Chopra has shown his power in the Diamond League tournament. He won the title here in the year 2023 and then threw a throw of 88.67 meters. After this, he stood second in the year 2024. Then he threw a throw of 88.36 meters. Now once again he would like to do well. Apart from him, Kishore Jena will also take part in the Diamond League tournament. Prior to this, he took part in this tournament in the year 2024. Then finished ninth with a throw of 76.31 meters.
Top players from all over the world will take part
Several star players will participate in the men’s javelin throw competition including Anderson Peters of Grenada, a two -time world champion and bronze winner of Paris Olympic, Jacob Wadlech of the 2024 Czech Republic, Julian Weber of Germany and Julius Yigo of Keniyar, Julius Yigo of Keniyar and Japan Deen of Japan.
Gulveer Singh will debut in Diamond League in men’s 5000 meter race
The other two Indian national record holders who participated in the tournament are Gulveer Singh who is making debut in the Diamond League in the men’s 5000 meter race. Parul Chaudhary is participating in women’s 3000 meter steeplechase. He is a national record holder in this event.
