What happened after India-Pakistan ceasefire?
India-Pakistan Ceasefire: On April 22, a major terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 innocent people lost their lives. 15 days later, India launched an aircraft on Pakistan on the intervening night of 7-8. India demolished 9 terrorists bases in Pakistan and POK, killing around 100 terrorists. India described this airplay as action after the Pahalgam terror attack. India took this action under ‘Operation Sindoor’, but Pakistan started firing on the border, calling it an attack on the country. Pakistan kept trying to attack with drones and missiles for four consecutive days to attack India, but failed.
After this, India and Pakistan on Saturday agreed to immediately stop all types of firing and military operations in the ground, air and sea after four days of cross -border drone and missile attacks. Suddenly the ceasefire was announced by US President Donald Trump on social media. After this, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt made a formal announcement. Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, “After a long night conversation in the US mediation, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to the complete and immediate ceasefire.” Trump further said, “Congratulations to both countries for using common sense and great intelligence. Thank you people for focusing on this matter!”
However, a drone attack occurred at night in Jammu and Kashmir a few hours after this announcement. The sound of the blasts has been heard. The security personnel had to activate the air defense systems to demolish them down. In a hasty press briefing called at 11 pm, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt made it clear that Pakistan violated the ceasefire in the evening and the armed forces gave a befitting reply.
