
Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi
China has given a new statement amidst India-Pakistan tension. China has said that we are fully standing with Pakistan. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Saturday that his country would stand with Pakistan’s ‘sovereignty, regional integrity and national freedom’. According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the Chinese Foreign Minister made these comments during a telephone conversation with Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

During the conversation, Dar informed Wang Yi about the emerging regional situation. Wang Yi praised Pakistan’s restraint and his responsible stance in challenging circumstances. The Foreign Office said, “He confirmed that China will stand firmly with Pakistan in maintaining his sovereignty, regional integrity and national freedom as an evergreen strategic partner and firm friend of Pakistan.”
Ishaq Dar talked to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed
In addition, Ishaq Dar also spoke to the United Arab Emirate Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, who welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India.
