Katra (Jammu): Mata Vaishno Devi’s city Katra was stirred on Saturday night when the movement of suspicious drones was seen in the sky. According to the information, this drone came from the border area of Akhnoor towards Katra and went towards Udhampur, flying over the hills of Vaishno Devi.
Complete blackout throughout the area
There was panic among the local people as soon as the news of the drone movement was received. People stopped the lights of their homes as a precaution and started searching for safe places. Given the seriousness of the situation, the administration immediately came into action and the entire area was completely black out.
Senior officials also watched a drone movement
At present, there is no notice of loss of life and property in this incident. Police and security agencies have started investigating the case. According to sources, many senior officials also saw the drone movement, but they do not want to make their names public due to security reasons.
The administration and security agencies are trying to find out what the purpose of drone flight was and from where it was operating.
