Russia Ukraine Ceasefire: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is expected to stop. Ukraine and his associates have agreed to a 30 -day full and unconditional ceasefire. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister said that the ceasefire will begin on Monday. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister has spoken about the ceasefire at a time when the leaders of 4 European countries have reached Kiev on Saturday to show joint support. Leaders of France, Germany, Poland and Britain have reached Kiev and met Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonsky.
Putin announced a ceasefire
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had announced a 72 -hour ceasefire unilaterally due to the Victory Day Parade. During this, he also said that Russian soldiers would give a befitting reply to any attack. Ukraine then described this parade of Russia as a ‘spectacle of fake patriotism’ and declared the ceasefire declared by Russia as hollow.
Common statement of European leaders
The US proposed a 30 -day ceasefire in the war in March, which Ukraine accepted, but the Kremlin laid more emphasis on the terms of the ceasefire as per its choice. European leaders said in a joint statement, “We repeat their support for President Trump’s call for peace agreement and urge Russia to stop obstructing efforts to ensure permanent peace.” The leaders said, “America and we call Russia to make a place for just and to make a place for justice for just and permanent peace from Russia.
