During this, Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner of Rajouri, died. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed deep condolences on this heart-wrenching incident.

Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah said, “Sad news has come from Rajouri. We have lost a dedicated officer of Jammu and Kashmir Administration Service. Yesterday, he was roaming in the district with the deputy CM and attended the online meeting held under my chairmanship. Today, Pakistani shelling was done at the officer’s residence, in which Rajouri city was targeted, in which the city was targeted, in which our additional district development commissioner was killed. I do not have words to express my shock and sorrow.

Attempted infiltration, 7 terrorists killed
