At the same time, after the talks between the two countries, the decision of ceasefire with immediate effect has been decided. Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has welcomed this decision of the Indo-Pak ceasefire. Farooq Abdullah emphasized the immediate need to end the enmity by India-Pakistan and agreed to the complete and immediate ceasefire, as the tension is overshadowing people living near the Line of Control (LOC) and International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh.

Did Farooq Abdullah say?

In a statement issued from the party headquarters Nawa-e-Sabah, Farooq Abdullah expressed his support for the ceasefire and admitted that the current situation had a significant impact on the people and their property in the region. He said, “Our people along with LoC and IB have shocked the deteriorating situation between the two neighboring countries. This remedy will reduce the suffering of our people to a great extent who is caught in firing.”

‘Pakistan is responsible for lack of trust’

Abdullah also emphasized that his party has always advocated permanent friendship between India and Pakistan. However, he emphasized that Pakistan has the primary responsibility to bridge the lack of trust, which should remove the real concerns of India about cross -border terrorism.

Indo-Pak will talk again on May 12

Explain that the decision to stop firing and military action between India and Pakistan has been directly decided between the two countries. India-Pakistan has decided to combine the ceasefire. Now on May 12, both countries will once again talk about this issue.
