India Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan called the Indian DGMO at 15:35 pm today. It was agreed between them that both sides would stop all types of firing and military action in the land, air and sea from 17:00 pm Indian standard time. He said, today both sides have been instructed to implement this consent. The Director General of Military Operations will talk again on May 12 at 12:00 pm.

Earlier, on the tension, India and Pakistan, US President Donald Trump said that India and Pakistan have agreed to the ceasefire. Trump has posted this statement on social media in which both countries have also congratulated it for this. Trump said that after a long night conversation in the US arbitration, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to the complete and immediate ceasefire.
Trump made the announcement after talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir. Rubio has also made a similar statement on ‘X’.
