Pakistan Super League was first to be held in UAE
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced that the T20 tournament would be held in the UAE due to the ongoing military struggle with India. Now in the press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board, it has been told that the decision to postpon PSL 2025 has been taken as per the advice received from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Emirates Cricket Board has good relations with BCCI
However, it has been revealed that the Emirates Cricket Board’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) has no possibility of approving the PCB request for hosting the remaining matches as it has a good relationship with BCCI. The PCB stated that it supports the efforts of its partners, franchises, participating players, broadcasters, sponsors and organizers who have so far ensured the smooth operation of the tournament.
In retaliation for the 22 April terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India carried out missile attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India named it Operation Sindoor. 26 people were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, most of which were tourists.
