Chandigarh: Amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the Haryana government has directed that officers and employees of various departments, boards, corporations, undertakings and universities etc. should install their headquarters or stations inside the state. Apart from this, no employee will leave his headquarters or station till further orders. These instructions have been issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office.
Chief Secretary has issued order
As per the instructions issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office, no government employee is allowed to leave his prescribed headquarters until further orders. This order applies at all administrative levels and includes employees associated with various government-related institutions and bodies. This decision is being seen as a precautionary administrative remedy, which will fulfill emergency objectives during the war.
Action will be taken on not obeying orders
Officials have emphasized strict compliance with the instructions and said that if anyone violates, its disciplinary action can be taken. The notice warns to strictly follow the orders.
Police personnel and those working in health department cancell
Explain that the holidays of state police personnel in Haryana and employees working in the health department have been canceled till further orders. According to an order, any kind of leave has been banned in the Health and Police Department till further orders in view of the intensity of armed conflict between India and Pakistan. According to a letter sent to the civil surgeons, all the officers will be present at their current posting place and will not leave the district headquarters nor will any holiday application be approved till further orders.
It says that if someone needs to go on leave, then the state headquarters will approve the application. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the State Police Department said that the holidays of police personnel have also been canceled till further orders. All political programs of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini have also been canceled.
