In view of the current situation on the international border between India and Pakistan, the Telangana government on Friday announced the establishment of a control room providing 24 hours of service in the national capital. An official release stated that a control room has been set up at Telangana Bhawan in New Delhi to provide timely assistance, information and support to the residents of the state living in the border areas. The control room can be contacted through the phone number.
Before building a control room in Delhi, the Chief Minister of Telangana said that the MLAs are considering donating their one month salary. He later announced to donate a month’s salary. Revanth Reddy wrote, “As an Indian, I have decided to give a month’s salary in the National Defense Fund for the efforts of the brave armed forces of our country to end terrorism and protect people. I have requested all my colleagues and party colleagues as well as good citizens to join this campaign. Let us all stand together with our brothers for the most decisive moments of victory.”
Donated one month salary
Chief Minister A. Before announcing the salary donation, Revanth Reddy said on Friday that he was considering the proposal to donate a month’s salary to the National Defense Fund by Congress MLAs and members of the Legislative Council (MLC) in the backdrop of ‘Operation Sindoor’. An official release said that the Chief Minister discussed with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark in this regard. The statement said that Vikramark will consult Congress MLAs and Vidhan Parishad members and announce the donation. The release said that the Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the MLAs of other parties and the Legislative Council members to donate a month’s salary. (Input- PTI language)
