Union Health Minister JP Nadda
New Delhi: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda held a high level meeting with senior officials of his ministry on Friday. During this, he reviewed the medical arrangements. JP Nadda was also informed about the operational status of all hospitals and health facilities in India. Which includes information about the availability of essential medicines and medical supply, adequate infrastructure and fire safety measures.

The Health Minister was also apprised of the deployment of ambulances, tools, medicines, blood vials and consumables, ensuring adequate availability of medical supply including supplies, in the context of hospitals, ICU and HDU, the preparation of the hospital, Bhishma Cubes, Advanced Mobile Trauma Care Unit etc.
This advice given to officers in the meeting
The meeting advises hospitals and medical institutions to ensure adequate supply of essential medicines, blood, oxygen, trauma care kits etc. Also, it has been advised to coordinate with the regional associations of district administration, armed forces and doctors, nurses, paramedics, private sector hospitals, charitable institutions etc., so that the emergency response network can be strengthened in a collaborative manner.

JP Nadda also directed that the 24×7 Control and Command Center in the Ministry should monitor the current efforts at the present time and provide assistance to the states. The Union Health Ministry is closely monitoring the status and is committed to ensuring uninterrupted health services and emergency response in all fields.
The Union Health Secretary gave information about his meetings with states, union territories and central government hospitals and health care institutions for uninterrupted coordination with the concerned stakeholders within the Center and States to ensure effective response. The Union Health Minister has directed to ensure that all medical emergency response health systems are adequately equipped and functional at all times.
